Program information

Experience the African bush from every angle with GVI’s sister organisation, Bushwise, and build a solid foundation in professional safari and trails guiding. Over approximately three months (87 days), you’ll complete your CATHSSETA NQF2 Nature Site Guide qualification, with the exam written before arrival, and begin training towards your CATHSSETA NQF4.

You’ll gain hands-on experience both behind the wheel and on foot, develop essential guiding and bushcraft skills, and start logging hours towards your Foundational Trails Guide certificate. Learn from award-winning instructors, explore the wild heart of South Africa, and take your first step towards a career in ethical, professional safari guiding.
